SCOIL MHUIRE FEAST DAY - 25 March 2020
SCOIL MHUIRE FEAST DAY
Dear Parents, Guardians and Pupils of Scoil Mhuire Junior School,
Miss O’Donovan, Bean Uí Ríordáin and the staff of our school would like to wish you all a very happy Scoil Mhuire Feast Day.
It is the Feast of the Annunciation and we celebrate it as our school’s feast day as well.
Miss O’Donovan would have joined us all at mass in St Mary’s church on Pope’s Quay this morning, if everything was as it is supposed to be. Unfortunately, that is not possible. We will have a celebration when we are allowed to get back to school.
We hope that you have spent as productive and pleasant a day as possible. Parents, children and teachers should all be immensely proud of how we are pulling together to keep learning on track. Learning new software, clambering past awful tech tangles and putting up with the context of restricted movement and difficult conditions, is stretching everyone.
Please be reminded that all of these new experiences are important learning in themselves. Miss O’Donovan would definitely award everyone an A+!
Perhaps you could include Miss O’Donovan and our beautiful school in a special bedtime prayer this evening.
Best wishes and happy feast day from everyone at
Scoil Mhuire Junior School
