A.I.J.S. Handwriting Award Winner - 23 Nov 2016

Scoil Mhuire Junior School is a member of the Association of Independent Junior Schools (A.I.J.S.). This association was formed to provide the students, teachers and parents of the private junior schools throughout Ireland with a forum through which to exchange information, to compete with each other and to promote the sector in a unified manner. There are about 40 member schools.

Many A.I.J.S. members run competitions for schools belonging to the organisation. Scoil Mhuire Junior School runs an annual photography competition.

Notre Dame Junior School in Dundrum, Dublin, recently ran a handwriting competition. Sophie Mulhall in our 6th class came 2nd in the entire competition and received her award last Wednesday at assembly. Congratulations Sophie, on a great job.
