Engineers Week 2017 - 8 March 2017

6th Class decorated the school with a wonderful collection of posters about engineering and the huge variety of different types of work it can entail.

We were very lucky this morning, to have a real live visiting engineer come talk to us about her job. She is Diane Tennenhouse who is a chemical engineer working with Eli Lilly in Kinsale.

Her talk was fascinating and the girls kept her very busy with questions at the end.
