Christmas Shoeboxes - 14th November 2018

The girls in Scoil Mhuire Junior School are always enthusiastic about helping and doing good for others but the Christmas Shoebox Appeal is a particularly popular undertaking. To send Christmas gifts and cheer to someone their own age, who would not otherwise have that joy, strikes a very strong chord in their hearts.

They carefully prepared just over 120 beautiful packages which Team Hope collected from us for shipping to their recipients. There was barely enough room for the driver after all the parcels were loaded into his car!
