Investigating Sound - Third Class Scientific Experiment

Third Class planned for and made speakers for a mobile phone using a kitchen roll and disposable cups.

The girls subsequently recorded the results of the investigation and compared their predictions with the results on their investigation worksheets. They had amplified the sound from the phone.

They were very eager to bring their speakers home to try them out.

The task was made a little more tricky as Ms Curtin had previously taught the girls to stand to attention whenever the National Anthem is played. This occasion was part of a surprise test and they passed with flying colours!
